Maya started her strange life at a very young age. At about the age of 5 she and her brother Zane were forced to become assassins when their parents were slaughtered before their very eyes. Impressed by their ability to stand and watch all this horror the leader of the group took Maya and Zane in and began to train them as assassins. The leader was called Rilo and after a while took in Maya as his own personal pet to train. She later became a very good killer with the nickname of Bella Mort( beautiful death) among the other assassins working for Rilo. She and her brother spent a lot of time working together but then one day Rilo sent Maya out to kill a young man named Raziel. While out learning how Raziel worked so she could kill him she became interested in knowing more about him and started to get close to him. One day when there was a big fight and a friend of Raziel's was in danger from a man named Asher, Raziel chose to save Maya's life instead of kill Asher and end his friends danger. Then on Maya fell in love with Raziel and was learning how to live without being an assassin. Rilo did not like her leaving his group so he sent many of his assassins after her to persuade her to either rejoin him or die. She survived many of his attacks each time becoming closer to Raziel, and making many new friends along the way. One day one of her friends, Logan, told her that he loved her but since she was already in love with Raziel she was unable to be with him. She still became close friends with Logan though. After a while of that Maya meet a man named Ermack Nash and they became close and she started to think of him as her brother. One day Raziel disappeared and Maya set out to search for those who took him. Maya had to kill her brother Zane who was manipulated into trying to kill Maya. And a bit after that Maya got into a little trouble with the sabbat and had to run from sight for a while. That is until a friend of hers got a tzimisce to changes her looks a bit, but ended up doing too good of a job and increased her appearance (6 sux. Die Roller loved him that day). She wasn't entirely happy about the increase since she was big on not attracting too much attention to herself. Maya had fallen for many after Raziel, one such character was a man name Ryu, who was able to seduce her from her current love. And after Ryu vanished came Greebo, who Maya ended up marrying.
